Mind Gambit
About Mind Gambit
Mind Gambit is a relaxing puzzle game inspired by the classic Peg Solitaire. Plan your moves carefully to jump and remove pegs until only one remains. There’s no timer, just pure strategy and thoughtful gameplay. With unlimited levels, the challenge never ends.
How to play
In Mind Gambit you play on a board full of pegs, removing them by jumping one peg over another into an empty hole, just like classic Peg Solitaire. Click or tap a peg, then select a valid empty space two steps away in a straight line to make the move and clear the jumped piece. Keep making legal jumps until you either get stuck or manage to finish the puzzle with a single peg left on the board.
Tips and tricks
Treat Mind Gambit like a pure strategy puzzle: before each move, imagine what pegs will remain if you make that jump and whether you are creating isolated pieces with no future moves. Aim to clear the outer edges toward the middle so you do not strand single pegs in corners. On tougher Peg Solitaire layouts, work backwards from where you would like the final peg to end up and plan sequences that funnel pieces toward that spot.
Why this game works well at school or work
Because there is no timer in Mind Gambit, you can think through each Peg Solitaire move at your own pace and pause whenever you need to. That makes it ideal for short breaks at school or work where you want a calm but challenging logic puzzle. The game runs directly in the browser with simple click or tap controls, so it works well on classroom PCs, Chromebooks and office laptops without any setup.
