About Jam Escape

Jam Escape turns every traffic jam into a sliding puzzle. Each level drops you into a cramped parking lot where the red car is stuck behind layers of vehicles. You slide cars and trucks forward and backward along their lanes to clear a path to the exit, with layouts that range from simple warm-ups to multi-step brainteasers.

How to play

Look at the starting grid and find the red car and the exit. Click and drag or swipe each vehicle along its allowed direction—horizontal cars move left and right, vertical ones move up and down. Your goal is to move the red car to the open exit space in as few moves as possible. When the red car reaches the edge, the level is complete and you advance to the next challenge.

Tips and tricks

Start by freeing space around the red car rather than randomly sliding every vehicle. Long trucks often act as keys that unlock large sections of the board, so plan moves that let you shift them first. If you feel stuck, mentally rewind a few moves and look for lanes you have not opened yet instead of continuing to push pieces back and forth in the same area.
